Durable material 

The face of the lighted letters is made out of wood (our Premium Birch Plywood is resistant to water & moisture). The sides are made out of metal (not cardboard or foam). They are durable and strong, can be safely transported and set up at events. We use exterior paint that is specifically made for outdoor use, which resists fading, cracking, or peeling in outdoor conditions.

Sturdy construction

Our giant letters for events have a thick depth for stability. (5 inches in depth). Heavy enough to stand firmly. Lightweight enough to be portable. Large light up letters 4 feet tall weigh about 20-30 lbs each.

Suitable for outdoor use

Our outdoor marquee letters are waterproof and weather-resistant. They can get rained or snowed on.

Plastic LED bulbs

Our bulbs are made out of plastic, won't break easily like glass bulbs. LED bulbs don’t produce heat, won’t be hot to touch, have a long-lasting 40,000 hour bulb life.

Freestanding letters. Can add optional stands.

We recommend adding stands, but they're not absolutely necessary. If you prefer to not add stands, we can cut the bottom of the letters flat so that they don’t have a rounded bottom, they can be flat so they can stand up on their own. 

But if you set up on an uneven surface, outdoors, in a windy area or expect people to bump into the letters (including, but not limited to these circumstances), then we strongly recommend adding stands for extra stability. We offer stands at an additional cost.

Open back marquee letters

Our standard letters have an open back. This means that the back side is not closed, it is not covered. When people take photos of the sign, they will not see the back side. Adding a back panel is optional. If you’d like the back side to be closed off, there will be an additional cost.

We can make marquee letters A-Z, marquee numbers 0-9, and marquee symbols. Pricing provided is based on our default font, but we can do any fonts at an additional cost.

Choose any logo/ shape

We can turn anything into giant light up signs up to 5-6 feet tall. A perfect way to impress your guests at retail stores, trade shows, brand activation events, restaurants. Everyone will want to take photos with it and share them on their social media. See our custom marquee shapes here.

Choose any color

Letters can be made in any color, at an additional cost. Get creative and choose a different color for each letter if you'd like! See our colorful marquee letters here.

Choose any display option

(a) Individual stand

If you prefer to not add stands, we will cut the bottom of the letters flat so that they don’t have a rounded bottom, they can be flat so they can stand up on their own. 

(b) Stacking stand

Large marquee letters metal stand designed for stacking letters. Stack one word on top of another word. Use our custom metal stands for light up letters to display letters creatively. Save space at events with limited space. 

(c) Wall-hanging letters

Wall-hanging letters will have hooks attached on the back side of the letters. Additional charges may apply, such as hanging larger letters, or adding a backplate.

Our standard letters use our default font only. Please click HERE to see our default font. Using your own custom font will increase the price. For custom font, we can use any font, including any font if you want the exact same font as your logo.

Flat bottom letters

For letters that have a rounded bottom, we will cut the bottom flat so that it stands up on the ground firmly. The letter will be more stable with a flat bottom. Unless otherwise specified, all rounded bottom letters (such as G,O,S) will have a flat bottom. Here is what the flat bottom looks like (letter G, O, S in this photo) 

Powered by an outlet

The light up letters are powered by an electrical outlet, they are not battery operated. The letters have standard US plugs.

Multiple letters are connected together so that they plug into one outlet. This also means you are able to mix and match different letters to spell out different words!

Customizable bulbs

The default bulbs we use are clear LED bulbs. They are G50 bulbs with an E17 base. 

Our default bulbs cast warm white lights. The photos of the pineapple in this listing use our default bulbs. The default bulbs are dimmable, you would just use a dimmer switch.

We use plastic LED bulbs. Plastic is shatterproof so they won't break easily, they are much more durable compared to glass bulbs.

We use LED bulbs. LED bulbs don’t produce heat, won’t be hot to touch. They’ll last much longer, won’t need to switch them out as often compared to incandescent bulbs.

Colored bulbs are available at an additional cost.

Please let us know before placing the order if you want different bulbs than are default bulbs.
